Princess Jasmine is a fictional character in Disney’s 1992 animated feature film Aladdin. She subsequently appears in the film’s two direct-to-video sequels, The Return of Jafar and Aladdin and the King of Thieves, and in the animated television series based on the film. In the first film, Jasmine’s speaking voice is provided by American actress Linda Larkin, who also voices the character in the sequels and television series, while her singing voice is provided by Filipina-American singer and actress Lea Salonga. Salonga is then replaced by actress Liz Callaway in the sequels.
